Communion Service

January 1, 2023 at 11:00 am

“While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. (Matt 26:26-28).” Jesus instituted communion as a way for his disciples to remember his death and sacrifice. At its core, communion is a celebration, remembrance and proclamation of Christ’s death. It reminds us and declares to everyone partaking that Jesus is with us, Jesus died for our sins and He is now alive working in us. Join us as we remember the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus made for us all.
